Classrooms: Toddlers
Overview
The Rochester Montessori Toddler Community welcomes the youngest children (18 months to about 3 years old) to our school. 
The community is a half- or full-day experience that meets five days a week from 8:30-11:30 am or 8:30-3:00 pm.
Studies show again and again that the most important time for learning is the first three years of life. There is a direct correlation between a child's physical development and emotional and cognitive development. In our Toddler Community, children enjoy exploring each activity and making discoveries and new understandings. They especially thrive when they discover that they can indeed "do it" all by themselves! Each activity engages the child in experiences that teach concepts fo sequencing, form, shape, and classification.
The Toddler Community is fortunate to have the experience and compassion of Juliane Dennis and Melissa Martinez as guides and Sarah Dennis and Sally Goodman as assistants.
