After School Studios
To register for one or more After School Studio, please complete the registration form. You may wish to register your child or children for the fall, winter or spring studio as this allows the teachers to build on lessons.

All Studios and additional services are billed on the 15th of the following month via auto withdrawal.

Children's House, 4-K
Monday: Discovering Chinese
This is an introduction to the Mandarin language and China. Through traditional Chinese games, songs, crafts and food the Children will learn basic vocabulary used in daily life. Ages 4-6. Taught by Tina Xie from 3:00-4:30. Cost: $15 per class; $11 if enrolled in LPU. Schedule: 1/9-3/26
Tuesday: Baking with Mona
Come Join the fun of baking with Mona in the only Studio where the children get to eat their work! We will bake cupcakes, cookies, muffins, & bread and even our own fruit and nut energy bars. Ages 4-6. Enrollment limited to 5 children. Taught by Mona Noureldin from 3:00-4:30. Cost: Materials Fee: $10; $15 per class;$11 if enrolled in LPU. Schedule: 1/3-3/27
Thursday: Tippi Toes Dance
Tippi Toes Dance Compay is coming to RMS to provide the experience of dance, self expression and movement. Classes are designed to develop motor skills and body awareness while enjancing self esteem. The children will learn some ballet, tap, and jazz! This class is wonderful for any child who loves to dance! Ages 3-6. Taught by Tara Cassmann of Tippi Toes Dance Co from 3:00-4:00. Cost is arranged directly through Tippi Toes Dance Co. Schedule: 1/5-3/29.
Elementary/Middle School
Tuesday: Hip Hop
This is the perfect lcass for anyone that is ready to jump into the trendy style of hip hop dancing. Hip Hop, also known as street dancing is very popular today. Using parent-friendly music, students will work on leaps, jumps and rhythm. Grades 1-6. Taught by Tara Cassmann of Tippi Toes Dance Co. from 3:15-4:15. Cost is arranged directly through Tippi Toes Dance Co. Schedule: 1/3-3/27.
Tuesday: Robotics 1
Using the Mindstorm LEGOtm Robotics kits, we will change the classroom into a hands-on robotics laboratory7! We will model real-life mechanisms and use creativity, logic, and problem-solving skills while learning key STEM concepts. Enrollment is limited to 14 children. Grades 1-3. Taught by Mark Seifert from 3:15-4:30. Cost $15 per class; $11 if enrolled in LPU. Schedule: 1/3-3/27
Wednesday: Art with Tina
If you enjoy drawing this is the class for you. Tina teaches drawing by modeling step-by-step directions. This is a great lessons in listening, concentration and creativity. Grades 1-3. Taught by Tina Xie from 3:15-4:45. Cost: $15 per class; $11 if enrolled in LPU. Schedule: 1/4-3/28.
Wednesday: Homework Club
Join the Homework Club if you need a quiet space to read, study, or catch up on work. Melissa will offer homework support and lesson reviews. Grades 1-3. Taught by Melissa Hagberg from 3:15-4:45. Cost: $15 per class; $11 if enrolled in LPU. Schedule: 1/4-3/28
Thursday: Cross Country Ski Club
Join Shannon and get ou tin the snow and enjoy our Minnesota winter! this is an introduction to the basic fundamentals of cross country skiing. We will practice the basics techniques of sliding, gliding on one ski, weight transfer, pushing off, poling, edging, skidding and steering. Students must bring their own waxless skis, ski boots and poles. Please note that classes will be canceled for inclement weather or no snow! Grades 3-7. Enrollment is limited to 10. Taught by Shannon McRaith from 3:30-5:00. Cost: $15 per class; $11 if enrolled in LPU. Schedule: 1/5-3/29

Join us on an interesting trip into China and the Mandarin language. Students will practice oral comprehension, simple conversation and vocabulary. Chinese phonetic spelling (i.e. Pin-Yin) is used for pronunciation and reading. Students will enjoy traditional arts, games, songs and fables. Grades 1-3. Taught by Tina Xie from 3:15-4:45.
