Children's House Guide
Clarisse M. Hoag is a Guide in the Birches classroom and has been part of RMS since 1999. She first joined the school as a Children’s House assistant and French specialist after being drawn to RMS’s peaceful environment, then continued her Montessori training to become a guide. Clarisse graduated from MJM Graphic Design School in Paris, France. She completed Montessori Assistant Training through Corner Stone Training Center in St. Paul and earned an Early Childhood credential for ages 3-6 through the Center for Guided Montessori Studies in 2012. She also holds an English as a Second Language certificate from the United Kingdom and is a Minnesota-licensed Certified Massage Therapist and bodywork practitioner.
Clarisse speaks French, English, and Italian and finds joy in working with children, sharing her experience with colleagues, and continuing to learn alongside her students. Outside of school, she enjoys cooking, reading, art, music, traveling to France to visit family, and spending time with her granddaughter.
