Tuition Assistance

Access to an RMS Education

RMS is committed to making a Montessori and International Baccalaureate education accessible to families from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds.

While RMS is a tuition-based independent school, we offer need-based tuition assistance to support qualified families. We believe that socioeconomic diversity strengthens our community, and families applying for tuition assistance enter into a partnership with RMS—one rooted in transparency, responsibility, and shared commitment to the educational journey.

Tuition assistance is awarded annually based on demonstrated financial need and available funds.

How tuition assistance works

Tuition assistance at RMS:

  • Is need-based
  • Is awarded annually
  • Requires reapplication each year
  • Does not include full-tuition (100%) awards
  • Awards are determined after careful review of each family’s financial profile and in consideration of the overall applicant pool.
  • All financial information is kept strictly confidential.

Applying for tuition assistance

  • RMS partners with Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS) to manage the application process.
  • Families seeking tuition assistance must:
  • Submit a TADS application
  • Provide required tax documentation
  • Complete the application by the RMS admissions deadline

Tuition assistance applications should be submitted alongside the application for admission. Applications received after the deadline may limit eligibility.

Please note:

Only one application is required for multiple children within the same household.

In cases of divorced, separated, or unmarried parents, each household must complete a separate application.

Payment Structure

In addition to need-based assistance, RMS offers a tuition installment plan.

Tuition is paid in ten monthly installments, beginning in June and continuing from August through April.
