Toddler Assistant
Kaiden “Kai” Sonnier is a Guide-in-Training for ages 0-3 through the Prepared Montessorian Institute. He has worked in both Children’s House and Toddler programs at RMS and brings more than seven years of experience in child care and school settings. Kai holds an A.S. in Early Childhood Care and Education from Rochester Community and Technical College and a Montessori Assistant: Early Childhood certificate from Loyola University Maryland. He is completing Nido & Toddler Montessori Teacher Certification through the MACTE-accredited Prepared Montessorian Institute.
Kai has also studied Forest/Nature School and Reggio Emilia. He appreciates how these approaches, along with Montessori, view children as curious, capable, and full of potential. Learning from multiple educational philosophies continues to shape the way he observes, communicates with, and supports young children.
