Elementary 2 Guide
Mark Seifert is a Guide in E2 West and has been part of the RMS community since 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Iowa State University and a Minnesota K-6 teaching license. Mark earned his AMS Primary teacher certification through the Center for Contemporary Montessori Programs at the College of St. Catherine and his Montessori Elementary I and II credentials through the Center for Guided Montessori Studies in 2019. He has also completed IB professional development in Sciences: Implementing the MYP Curriculum (2017) and MYP Mathematics (2024).
He values Montessori and IB for the independence, curiosity, and ownership they encourage in students. After many years of coaching FIRST LEGO League at RMS, Mark continues to bring creativity, STEM, and hands-on learning into the classroom.
